Celebrating 65 years!
John (Jack) Kavanaugh, Jr. along with his wife Jane started the
business in 1947 while raising their children. John Kavanaugh III took
over the business in 1978. And today, John Kavanaugh IV is planning on keeping
the tradition alive for a third generation. Kavanaugh's is one of the
longest family owned restaurant's in Madison. We were also one of the
first to begin the traditional "Friday Night Fish Fry".
